Leaflets are a versatile way of advertising, providing information or running campaigns

Leaflet printing is one of the quickest and most economical ways of getting a wide variety of information to an intended audience.

The most obvious use for a leaflet is as advertising and to inform people of a company’s basic services and contact details.  Many small traders, such as builders, gardeners, plumbers and local takeaway delivery services, distribute them house to house in areas where they are hoping to pick up work.  They can be a handy memory aid when something crops up that needs attention around the home.

Companies use them as additional sheets to insert into a folder containing information on a variety of their products or services and they are a versatile way of updating information without going to the expense of re-printing a whole brochure or booklet.

They are a good medium to use for a special promotion or offer and can incorporate a contact form for people to place an order or to request more information.  Adding a code to the form means that the company can track how effective it has been and the response rate from different areas where it has been distributed.

Leaflets are also used by many organisations, from local government to health services to local charities to provide information on specific topics. The patient visiting their local GP may come away not only with a prescription but with a leaflet printed with guidelines on managing a particular health condition and what to watch out for should the condition deteriorate.

For schools, too, a leaflet is a useful way of keeping parents informed of specific events as well as providing them with useful guides and references for each stage of their child’s progress through their education.

Printing services can provide a very simple, nicely laid out product that can incorporate a small amount of design but is largely focused on the content text.

Equally the design of a leaflet can be as eye-catching and colourful as imagination can make it.  Illustrations, cartoons, logos and corporate branding can be included to act as a reminder of the company or organisation issuing them.

Leaflet printers can provide A5 size leaflets with a cover two inside pages and outside revere by printing the entire content on A4 sheets then folding them allowing for more information to be included as economically as possible.

Despite all the advances in marketing techniques and the increasing importance of online publicity the leaflet remains an enduring part of many organisations’ print needs.
